To distribute videos on YouTube, you need to create a channel as a distribution location.
If you want to set the name of the channel freely, you need a brand account. Use it to create a channel.

How to create a channel with a YouTube brand account
- Access YouTube.
- If you are not logged in to your Google account, log in.
- Click “Settings” at the bottom of the left menu on the portal screen.

- Click “Create a channel” in the “Your YouTube channel” section.

- The following pop-up is displayed. Click “Use a business or other names” at the bottom left of this pop-up.
- Do not click “CREATE CHANNEL” at the bottom right of the pop-up. If you click this, you will create a channel linked to your Google account, and the channel name will be your Google account name.

- The brand account creation screen is displayed. “Brand Account name” will be the channel name, so enter your favorite name here and click “Create”.

- You can confirm that the brand account has been created and the channel with the entered name has been created.

A channel with a desired name is created by the above procedure. You can publish it by uploading the video.
How to set up a YouTube channel
If necessary, change the channel settings as well.
The following describes how to change the settings of the created channel, using the channel icon change as an example.
- Click the icon part of the channel.

- YouTube Studio is displayed. This allows you to change the detailed settings of the YouTube channel.
- The following pop-up is displayed at the first access. If necessary, click “LEARN MORE” to check the details.

- To change the icon, click “UPLOAD” in the “Profile picture” section.

- After selecting the uploaded image and changing the icon, click “PUBLISH” at the top right of the screen.

- Confirm that “PUBLISH” is grayed out and the icon change is completed.
